After years of incessant touring, Funkarelli has slowed our road show down and are hard at work on the next generation of musical outlaws. Trading danger for diapers the boys are now getting less sleep than we ever thought possible.
Music is still the driving force behind Arthur Funkarelli, and while the band van is on blocks a little more often these days, we have channelled our focus into writing and recording.
Free from the big budget and time constraints that resulted in our most polished album to date, WAVES, Funkarelli is producing the new record in our very own Brothers Black studio.
Working in our own space allows us to breathe life into our new songs in a way that is impossible in high-rent studios. It gives us an opportunity to let the magic happen in an organic environment. And…it’s just plain, good-rockin’ fun.
While being a travelling musical riot is still one of the greatest things to do in life, we are striving for balance.
There are always more shows to play and more songs to write. The best thing about Funkarelli is that we are a big family…and getting bigger.
There is only one way to go…forward with music.
